Spring time

Evening all,

Well I've been on abit of a sorting out mission today - why oh why but it just happened. It started with sorting out winter clothes and packing them up for now - wishful thinking.Managed to empty a box full of paperwork and find a new home for it.Gosh was I shattered after sorting my bedroom cupboard out - not much go in this body of mine lately.Had a seat for a while then mid afternoon I sorted out all my dies into a better order and tidied up my crafty cupboard - that's why I'm shattered now but feel better now it's done.

Here's a card I made this week with the free Polkadoodles Tatty Twinkle Easter digi stamps. So cute. The tulips are from one of the polkadoodles cdrom, alphabet letters, distress ink, free fence die cut and free cloud embossing folder.

Thanks for popping by.

Lots of yellow

How are we all today? Yesterday was a beautiful day, I got my bloods took and was hoping to go and visit my friends Sheila and Tom but it wasn't meant to be.I was exhausted just going to the docs.So I've rested up and will hopefully get to see them soon. Here's another card for Easter that I forgot to post.Hope you like it.
I used a freebie embossing folder, some dies, ribbon, gems and twine.I have also used a cute image from Meljens designs called 'Bunny love'.I coloured this image in with pro markers.

Well I'm hoping to get a little bit of crafting done today, so here's hoping.Enjoy your day whatever you're up to.

A card for a friend

Evening all,

What a beautiful warm day it's been in lovely East Yorkshire. The washing has been blowing on the line and I've been sat crafting at the table - I can't think of anything better, can you? Hope you've all had a lovely Easter weekend, it's been a quiet one for us and no chocolate - yet! I have a little easter egg so tonight is the night....

I'd like to welcome my new follower and thank you to all my lovely followers for following my blog.
Here's a card I made last week with my beautiful stamp set from Clearly besotted stamps - take good care. It was for a family friend up in Scotland. It's a different style for me - so I hope you like it.

I wanted to make it as clean and simple as I could - work in progress I think.

Have a lovely evening, time to make the tea.No rest for the wicked!

Funky Friday

Back again with a post which is a little picture heavy.

Here's a word book I made with the funkyhand colour-me-happy cdrom. There are so many beautiful paper collections, digi stamps and word books on this cdrom. Making a wordbook was one way to celebrate and record my nephew's life as he became a teenager...

I love making word books as it is one way to record lots of memories and the lovely Anice is the queen of designing word books and lovely digital designs. There is an amazing offer on for this Easter weekend, so don't miss out on some amazing offers.

Happy Easter

Hi everyone,

Well would you believe that I had trouble getting Easter eggs yesterday? I know I'd left it abit late but usually they are everywhere. Asda didn't seem to have a big choice. Now I did try and be organised a few weeks ago and ordered them with my online shopping but they were all substitutions so I returned them - whoops....

I managed to get Shan one and a couple of little ones for me and Shamus seeing as we are watching our weight and trying to be good. He's lost over a stone and I've lost 9lbs whoop whoop. It's actually not that hard to eat better and to cut the portion sizes down.Anyway I was even a good girlie jut having a coffee and no naughties when I met my friend Julia for a cuppa at Costa yesterday.

Here's a little easter bag that I've made today with the gorgeous freebie download from Nikky at Polkadoodles.
Cute freebie papers too.Thank you Nikky Hall -gorgeous digi's.The bow and the flowers are from the Polkadoodles cdroms that I had in my scrap folder.Hope you likey.

Have a super duper Friday and a lovely weekend.
